This is the primary game I've been playing for the last several months on-line. Battlefield 2 by EA.
There's a built in ranking system that tracks every last detail of your play online and it's made available for others to view and compare. Check out this page which contains an image of some key metrics, as well as a link to the excruciatingly high detail stats.
