  • Upgrade Your Computer Often? Don't Buy Vista...

    Why? Well let me tell you a little story first. I upgrade my personal PC quite often. Every few months I may add a little something like more memory, an upgraded video card, sound card, DVD writer. Every 12 to 18 months I'll replace something more significant like the CPU or motherboard. It's these last two items that are going to cause a problem. It's also these last two items that PC enthusiasts will change often enough that they will be required to purchase a brand new copy of Vista...

  • Test Post from Windows Live Writer

    I'm just testing out the Windows Live Writer application. The WYSIWYG editors that CommunityServer provides is good, but it doesn't compare to the rich interface that Microsoft Word provides. Windows Live Writer seems to promise more of the Word experience and less of the manual HTML editing that's usually required to write a well formatted post. Here's an excerpt from the download page .   • Now running CommunityServer 2.1 release

    I've updated my blog site to CommunityServer v2.1 . I was having some trouble with the configuration of the v2.0 site when it was trying to process blog post trackbacks and pingbacks . So I decided to update the site software to the latest version and reconfigure it from a clean state. It looks like the services that weren't quite working before have been fixed by the clean reconfig. So now it's time to start digging into the new features!
